Taking a closer look at the Mustangs and breaking down how to read through their stats. How those stats work regarding the breeding.

Looking at a random Mustang.

Sex ~ Male    This will be one of the other of course.
Level ~ 5    This will affect traits like Aura, Eyes, Ears, Manes, Tails.   As you go up in Level other varieties may be added in via the random array.
Species ~ Mustang    The species of horse that has a lot of options for variation of color.
Strain ~ Chestnut    In this example the strain the color is Chestnut.
Personality ~ Skittish    This is an indicator of how easy or hard it will be to train.
Scale ~ 14 Hands    The scale will indicate the size of the horse and comes in via the ancestry. The 11th hand can come in in the rare instance of the second foal. Scales larger will come in via Collectors Editions animals.  
Coat ~ TanSpotted-RR-Anklet    The description of the coat name indicates the marking that is on the coat.  These are things that you will want to make sure to pay attention to them.  The first part of the name TanSpotted this is the part indicating the face marking RR-Anklet indicates that the Rear Right leg has an anklet marking all others are plain.
Right Eye ~ GreenApple    First part is the Trait name second part is the color.
Left Eye ~ GreenApple    Presently there is no way of getting wonkey eyes on a Mustang.
Eye Glow ~ Natural     Eye Glow will come in around Halloween.
Right Ear ~ Natural     First part is the Trait description the second part is the Trait name.
Left Ear ~ Natural     Ears will come in as you level up or via Collectors Editions.
Tail ~ French Roast-Straight    First part is the Trait description the second part is the Trait name.
Mane ~ Carmel-ShaggyLeft      The first part of the name is the color the second part of the name is the shape that it has.
Aura ~ Natural     Auras will come in as you level up or via Collectors Editions.
Shine ~ Natural    Auras will come in as you level up or via Collectors Editions.

Now that you have an understanding of what the traits mean. Let us talk about the way they can work together.

Sex ~ This is a 50 – 50 chance either male or female.
Level ~ This is either up one level down one level or stay the same. The strain also plays a factor in deciding which animal is used to decide what the level is, we will first look for the animal with the same strain. If the parents are the same strain the level is a 50-50 chance of if this will be off the mother or the father.
Species ~ The only option at this time Mustang.
Strain ~ The color of the Mustang. Similar to that of Breed in the Big Cats or Wild Dogs.
Personality ~ This is a random selection of the 5 that are available.
Scale ~ The size of the Mustang and is pulled from the ancestry.
Coat ~ They can be pulled from the animal’s ancestry, anything from the current level or the next level up and anything below. The other way that coats can come is when we evaluate the mom’s coat and the dad’s coat, these coats can trigger an additional adding of a coat. More about this in a bit.
Eyes ~ Will pull all the eyes from the animal’s ancestry and anything that is on the current level and below.
Eye Glow ~ Until October this is just a placeholder.
Ears ~ Will pull all ears from the animal’s ancestry and anything from its level and below.
Tail ~ Will pull all tails from the animal’s ancestry and anything from its level and below.
Mane ~ Will pull all Manes from the animal’s ancestry and anything from its level and below.
Aura ~ Comes from the ancestry
Shine ~ Natural

Random Additions (RA) – Random additions can have traits added to them as the level increases.  Coats have a second way of getting things added to this RA this is through the combination of the mother’s coat and the father’s coat.  When we evaluate these two coats we look at what you the breeder might be going for. It could be a new strain or it could be different markings. If it is looking at how to get a new strain the parents will have different strains think on this like a color mixing puzzle. What could you mix together and what might you get.  As this first started we had little to choose from so the mixes were not as literal as colors but as we get more and more color strains we can be a bit more literal. We have not posted this list anywhere as it would mean they are found very quickly. The community loves things to stay rare hints may be given from time to time.  A second thing you might be going for with different strains is to move the marking from one strain to the other.
