Today was just like any other day, or so I had thought. Who would have suspected that today would end the wait for the first of the Tigons to be born into our Second Life (SL) community.  This is a very rare occurrence but a wonderful one to see happen FINALLY.

We asked the proud breeder for an image with the cat to share with everyone.  Being that the cub is only a few moments old. It still is relatively small but soon will be out growing its parents.

The next installment in the limited edition teddy bears. In honor of Mothers Day we have made this traditional style teddy bear for your cats to cary about and get comfort from while you are away from them in second live and attending things in your real life.  These bears are over size and will be out for the rest of the month of May into early June.  You can find them at the two main store locations.

Just a few short days away and the US will celebrate our Mothers and all that they do for us.  In honor of the day we have some special eyes that will be available through cub creation starting Thursday the 8th and finish up on Wednesday 14th.  You will want to collect them all if you can.  Each species has their own design.

As there is still only one liger on the grid there is much miscommunication and speculation even some fabrication as to what will pass from its offspring. Setting the record straight here and now.

If a Liger is the direct parent of a cat, that cat has the chance of triggering the EX Large scale.

The one of a kind Christmas Eye is the passing trait from the Liger that is on the grid and CAN ONLY be obtained by the liger or the ligers children or any cat there after that has the eye.

We know that making ligers are very difficult and it is highly sought after. Ligers / Tigons come from level 8 lions and higher and any tiger. The traits of the one of the kind can pass and have value just like any other cat. It is up to the seller and the buyer to know what that value is.

Hope this will stop the speculation, the confusion it is up to the buyer to know what they are buying, other breeders should not try to make buyers feel bad about what they see as value.

All items come sepreate and can be combined to make this little basket design.  We hope you enjoy the seasonal food item. Each item has 56 portions and feeds your own cats, may be refilled for longer use.

This was a very fun toy to test and try to get right.  The cats will trigger it to turn on or you can set it to on and have the water running for a role play situation of watering your lawn.

When the cats trigger it they will play with the water spray.

With the change of seasons and this being Palm Sunday we have released a eye to celebrate spring.

The eye will be birthed in between 4/13/2014 and 4/20/2014. Birthed in means MOM makes/creates the baby between these times. When you decide to birth it from the sack is another thing all together.

The reason you want to have all items up to date with the current scripts is because issues you may come a crossed may have already been fixed. Most of the fixes are little annoyances you may or may not have noticed with the food it was showing improper readings in world so not getting the used up dates.  With the cats one animation was sending them to 0.0.0 position on the sim causing them to get stuck.  Sacks had a improper sl permission set to no copy when it should have been copy and this was the sack in side the sack that goes into the cat. Really got confusing but this issue has been triple checked and all is looking good.

So as the song goes you got to MOOG IT MOOG IT  oh wait that isn’t the right song words but you get the gist of it. 

FAQ

When I am updating I get two of the same cat, Why?

This will happen when you rezz multiple boxes (ex; Catbox-1) of updated cat both boxes initialize at the same time and attempt to talk to the same line of the data base listing your cats.  The best practice it to initialize one box at a time and wait for it to say done in local chat before starting another.

Will there ever be a mass updater?

Yes, we are working on this and are getting closer but could not hold this update any longer. The error on the no copy sack was making birth deliveries annoying for many.

How to get a liger or a tigon?  As it is know that the Lion levels are getting to level 8 the chance of getting a hybrid cat is possible.  This is a very RARE let me say that again this is a VERY RARE occurrence. As in real life there are very few of these around. We have not seen it happen as of yet in secondlife other then the OOAK cat that was produced for the RFL auction and with only a few level 8s this would be expected.

How to get a hybrid? The only two species of cats that can make a hybrid are that of a Lion level 8 or greater and a Tiger of any level so look for the tiger with all the traits you want to pass in to the hybrid. Same with the Lion too as the hybrid is very hard to make you want the cats your trying to make it with have as many traits as possible.
