Taking a moment out here to write about our wonderful CSR’s and to remind the group that these are the most wonderful people that you could work with. They are funny and clever and love there cats as much as you love yours. Helping you when issues arise for them is also a joy. They want to help you right your cat world as fast as they can.

We know as do they that when something goes wrong in your cat world you want an instant fix for it. Its stressful to worry about your cats, the way our breeders care for their cats shows in the amount of stress they show us when something is not quite right. We do strive to get you a response as quickly as we can and or to fix an issue if there is one, or explain the cause to you about the problem. This being said you might not always like the answer, the cause may be operator error. It may be that time is the only fix. While that may be hard to swallow on your end we would like to ask that you don’t take it out on the CSR’s they are only the messenger as one would say.

We all Love SL or we would not be here but SL has its own faults and from a personal experience there have been times where one can not type into the chat window to respond fast enough and the party on the other and gets frustrated. Take a deep breath our goal is still to maintain the highest level of satisfaction and to do this we will respond to you as fast as we can. We will keep afk times to a minimum and we will handle as many of you as we can but we are only human. We have provided you with many ways of self help as we can think of. If you have exhausted all of those routes you and still are stuck were happy to look into your cat issue for you.

We would also like to point out two things, the first being that the CSR’s have a NON working SL too and just because you know they know the answer we ask that you respect there private time.  Second if they want to share some of there private time in the group don’t give them a hard time about that, remember they LOVE there cats and there job.

Huds go off sale today at noon, and the hunt it self ends today.  Those of you that started yesterday thank you for all the wonderful feed back seems that this hunt has been a lot of fun for you all and your enjoying the prizes.

If you have bought the WK Hay Large or Small Set and wondered why they were not breaking apart we have finally found the cause and have them fix. If you like to send yours in for an update simply box it up and label it with your Name and Hay Update and we will get your hay items sent out to you with in 24 hours or sooner.

This is a day late and hopefully you all will forgive us it was a very busy day yesterday.  Lots of prep working going into this weekends Hunt Activity and sort of ran out of time to Blog about the fact that we are officially 1 years old.  What a wonderful year it has been.

As one looks back over the year there were so many memories.  We would like to thank all the breeders who shared there ideas with us that were then implemented into making the Cats more realistic. Some extremely fun toys came out of these ideas.

In honor of our first birthday we brought out a very special Lion pair. Their fur is the white and will not pass but they have other traits that you may wish to breed into your existing line of Lions or in  to your other species.

We will continue to strive to bring you the most enjoyable breedable in Second Life. We are extremely grateful to all of our wonderful staff whom with out there support we would not be able to keep up with the continually growing number of breeders. To all our breeders we are honored by the love you have for our product. It truly means a lot to us that you’re enjoying them as much as you are.

When we first designed the boosters our thoughts were that they would be used to even cats out when you purchased one in the market place that might be behind the one you wanted to mate it with in stats. NEVER in our wildest of dreams would the use of boosters reach the level that it has. With much consideration over this use we have decided to rework the two most used boosters.

We are speaking of course of The Jar of Love Potion and The Pregnancy Vitamin. These reworks will not require us to pull them off the shelves it is being done on the server side. But over the next few days we will be putting into play the new rules.

The New Rules go like this:

The Jar of Love Potion is being adjusted so that it will not be able to be used on a cat until they are 6 days of age. You will only be able to use 2 a day in a 24 hour period per cat.

The Pregnancy Vitamin is being adjusted to work on a single Expecting Mother of 10 points of pregnancy to 85 points pregnancy. You will only be able to use 2 a day in a 24 hour period per cat.

To all that loved the C section fix we hope you will like this rework  as well.

The C Section Blankets are back and thank you to all that have been patient and understanding as we worked on them to eliminate the issue they were having.

For those oh you that have used these c section blankets in the past you will notice a few changes.  We have included more messaging in the blankets so you should be able to follow along.  But just to make sure we can go over it here.

When you rezz the bed it will say it is initializing and if all goes well at this step will say done and then this message; “Click the blanket, enter the NAME of the cat in the dialog box.”

We have gone to the dialog box and you will need to enter the name of the cat you want to use the bed. We have tried to be a bit humors in the messages back if you happen to input the male instead of the female you will get a response from the male.

If you have a successfully entered the female and she is at either 90 or 95 she will advance to 100 and return this message to you.

“Updating item and cat… This may take a few minutes please be patient……. The doctor will be with you shortly …. you know the time is near when the cat moves to the bed to wait for her turn to deliver ….  ”

For those that have never used a c-section blanket and wondered what it was it can be a savings of time up to 12 hours off the end of a pregnancy.

We have a set of 3 palm trees we like to bring you. These trees will drop coconuts and the cats will play with them.  There is one spot for a cat to lay on.  The set of 3 trees cost 499Ls and are 12 prims in total. You can find them at all your local WK stores. They work with cat version 1.3.8 and up.

We at WK would like to take this opportunity to remind all of our breeders to take a moment and think about how they are treating their fellow breeders. The stories we are hearing are really truly sad in many ways.  The vindictive nature that some claim is truly shameful.  Being that this is Sl and we have all seen it before where a person tells a story and it repeats and gets bigger then it was and goes on to get even bigger.

Please take a moment to step back and look at what your doing. We are continuing as we always have bringing you the best breedable that we can. We have not tried to control the second market because that is the breeders area and your all running your own business.  We are here to support the breeders to the best of our ability with customer service 24 hours a day. Back stabbing tactics of blacklisting some breeders because you don’t like them or like how they are running their individual business is wrong. Attacking a Auction house or the Auctioneer of the Auction house really says that you have no faith in yourself or your own business that you have to make someone else hurt to feel good or to succeed in your own business is really sad. Take a moment to think of how much pain you are causing each other and by causing that hurt don’t you hurt yourself a  little bit too. Would you want to deal with someone who is willing to throw there fellow cat lovers under the bus just to make a sale or to prevent a sale.

The few that are acting this way are all all going to hurt the market more then anything because no one will want to deal with grumpy unhappy people. As they say if you say bad things you get bad things if you say nice things you get nice things. Lets all try to say a little more nice things.

We have made many updates to the product each time making it better and more realistic we have enhanced the website to speed things up.  We however seeing a lot of disrespect from breeder to breeder we have been asked to take cats away from breeders because they can afford to use boosters where others can’t.  Its been suggested that stores should be removed if found to support low pricing on the cats.  These are all very stressful and judgmental solutions.

When we look back over the year it would be wonderful if we could get back to that place of community that looked out for each other that let you know if a cat was wrongly priced that looked out for one another and did not look for the first chance to take advantage of your fellow breeder. In order to do that it will take a huge amount of FORGIVENESS for past hurts, it will take a little bit of ACCEPTANCE of someone being different and letting go of the ANGER your bringing with you.

Take a moment to just get back to playing with your cats.  You wont stay angry long.
