Coming up on New Years Eve we will drop in randomly the following eyes.

First up is the Lunar Moon Eye for the wolves will start mid day on the 31s and un thru to the morning of the 2nd of January.

Up second is the reworked Party Time Eye for the Big Cats.  This Eye will also start mid day on the 31st and run through to the morning of the 2nd.

For this of you wondering about the Rooster he is on hold and may decide to come out for the Chinese New Year but then again he may not. Time will tell. For now good luck and enjoy the time.

Merry Christmas to one and all.  This Christmas day starting on Christmas Eve through to Christmas Night the eyes will drop in randomly through out the time period.

As the holiday season is upon us, we find ourselves reflecting on the past year and the members of our WK family. It’s been quite a year for us all! We hope that 2016 has been just as memorable for you. We look forward to continuing on with you in the years to come.

If you have not heard we were part of the Firestorm Winter Party.  This was an amazing event and we would personally like to welcome all of the new members to the community.

If you were not able to attend the party the Firestorm Developers asked us to leave the cat available for 2 weeks.  You can find it either on the main sim or at the party venue.

This is a collectors cat it is a pet and does not require food. It does not breed unless you choose to convert it into a full breedable animal. There s no cost for the animal.

Winter Maltese Tiger and Winter Dire Wolf!!

Are you ready for something new, maybe borderline imaginary or fantasy? We’ve got something special for you. This winter we want to introduce you to a new breed of tiger, the Maltese Tiger. These beautiful cats have a blue coloration in the patterns on their fur.

Although a Maltese Tiger with bluish fur may seem a bit far fetched, there have been unproven accounts of this color variation occurring in the wilds of Asia. We’ve expanded on this and present you with our WK Winter Cat 2016. These beautiful tigers will not only introduce you to the colorful Sanming fur, but it will also introduce new traits that can be passed: Snowflake eyes, Baby ears, and Bob tails.

Now that we have your attention, we also want to introduce you to our new Winter Wolf. We bring the Baby scale into the wolf genetics with our Dire Wolf with Grandview fur. We’ve also added a new eye, new ears, and new teeth for you to pass into your lines: Snowflake eyes, Pointy Big Dark ears, Saber Bent teeth. This wolf will be an amazing addition to your pack, and its self-confident personality will definitely show as it becomes acquainted with its new family.

We hope you are as excited as we are to have the new Winter Maltese Tiger and Winter Dire Wolf. We know you’ll use your breeding mastery to pass these wonderful traits into your pride or pack. One Final Push for the Relay For Life Event!

With every fund raising event that we have the privilege of being part of, we are constantly reminded how strong and generous our Wild Kajaera community is. It amazes us to see how much you care about what these events represent through your participation and donations. Truly, you have shown us that our community is in the spirit of giving this season.

Being invited to be a part of the Relay for Life event the last couple of weeks, we have the honor of working alongside so many great people in Second Life, working towards the goal of helping find a cure for cancer through our fundraising. We called upon our strong support base to help us with this, and you answered back with a resounding, unified voice showing us how strongly you feel about the cause.

When we asked for donations for our Relay For Life auction, you generously shared your gifts with us. Even though it was fun to hear Jaed call the auction, the real fun was watching 87,200 Lindens being raised for Relay for Life. When we set up a special RFL Crated Cheetah, you stopped by and helped raise 410,000 Lindens to help find a cure. Even our special RFL Rug of Hope raised an amazing 12,974 Lindens to go to the cause.

The highlight of our participation in this Relay for Life fundraising event centered around the RFL OOAK Tigger auction. It is with immense pride that we announce that Emily Quendra won this amazing cat with a bid of 300,000 Lindens. And, here’s a picture of Emily with her new pride and joy.

Today marks the last day for the Relay for Life event. You still have time to help make a difference. Our RFL Crated Cheetah and RFL Rug of Hope will be available throughout the day until approximately 8 PM SLT. Relay For Life LE and OOAK!!

It all started with one man, in May 1985. Dr. “Gordy” Klatt walked and ran around a track in Tacoma, Washington to help raise money for the American Cancer Society. From that day on, thousands of other people picked up the cause and joined in various events to support and celebrate cancer survivors and caregivers. We have our own part to share in helping raise funds for this wonderful event.

As mentioned in the previous post Wild Kajaera will be having our own Relay For Life Auction. This is only part of the greater picture as Second Life is holding a Relay for Life Event that coincides with this auction. We are happy to announce that we will also be raising funds with our new Relay for Life Cheetah LE during this time. Starting from December 1st to December 11th, you will have the opportunity to pick up this amazing Relay For Life Cheetah, with all proceeds going to the American Cancer Society.

We also have the honor of unveiling a Relay for Life One of a Kind Tigger for you at this event. The Relay for Life event staff made a simple request, for us to share something extremely special, and it was our pleasure to bring this amazing OOAK Tigger out for our SL community to bid on. We know we can count on our wonderful breeders to help show the rest of Second Life how generous we are. Bidding opens Thursday, December 1, 2016, 6am SLT and Closes Sunday, December 11, 7 PM SLT at (OOAK Auction site).

Also available at the RFL fair is the WK Rug of Hope.

Just like Dr. “Gordy”, one person can make a difference. So, we know that an entire community can work wonders!

Relay For Life Auction Monday, December 6th

This is the time of year where many people reflect on what they have and what they’re thankful for. As the end of the year nears, many will express this gratitude in many ways. It will be reflected in the many ads you may see on TV or in the numerous pages you scroll through on the Internet. This world has a lot to be thankful for, and we would think that you share that sentiment.

For tens of thousands of people across the world, this thankfulness holds an even deeper meaning. Whether they were just diagnosed with cancer, they have been in remission for a certain amount of time, or they’ve been struggling with it for so long, these heroes each see the promise of a new year in a different way. To experience that uncertainty, that fear, or that anxiety is a battle that no one should have to face, but these people do. In that sense, the new year may mean so much more than other people could imagine.

At Wild Kajaera, we believe in helping to support the cause. Through our numerous Relay for Life events we’ve participated in the past, we want to help find a cure. We know we have a wonderful community of generous people who feel just as strongly as we do. That’s why we’ve decided to hold a Relay for Life Community Auction on Monday December 5th at 6PM. All proceeds will go to the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life Fundraiser. The Relay for Life Auction will be located at the RFL Breedable Event.

To help us with this initiative, we are asking for cat or wolf donations to be auctioned off at this event. For those of you who want to show solidarity for our Relay for Life Auction, we ask that you send your cat or wolf to Jaed Cartier. Please rename your live animal or sack → Donated by (Your Name). We know, with your help, you can help show the world that we have a strong, vibrant community of generous people who are united in helping find a cure for cancer.

Awareness for World AIDS Day!

Some of us may be old enough to remember how frightening it was to witness the global scare that occurred in the 1980’s when HIV became a constant discussion in the news and other media. Not being connected constantly to a stream of information, like we are now, the fear of AIDS spread throughout the nation. For some, there seems to be an uneasy understanding about HIV and AIDS even today, when we have a wealth of information at our fingertips.

On December 1st, people around the world pay tribute to World AIDS Day. This day is special to so many people in the world, as it serves to unify everyone’s goal at finding a cure for this horrible disease. Additionally, it serves as a day to pay reverence to those who have passed as a result of AIDS or those living with it today.

Being on Second Life as much as we are, it’s easy to let the real world slip away. Becoming completely encapsulated in what we do on here, breeding our wonderful Wild Kajaera cats, or visiting amazing places built by others, we can often forget the impact that HIV and AIDS has had on the world around us. Some of you may even know someone who is battling the disease now.

Wild Kajaera’s Ribbon of Strength Eye will have a chance to drop in all births on December 1st. This is our way to increase awareness for World AIDS Day on the 1st. Thank you to all that report the problem with the animals Pregnancy Page on the website. This page is now back to working. Thank you for your patience while we worked to sort this for you.

There has been a update to the website. This has mainly effected the grids of the pages. The update has also effected the color themes that we had available not all of them were kept in this update we don’t know why, it is just something that changed. New schemes are available in addition to most of the old ones.

If you are having issues with the pages first thing to try is clear your history or your stored cash or cookies for the website, next restart your browser and finally relog into your portal account.  If your still not seeing things correctly and have a new color scheme in place contact a CSR for more information.

Rest assured any issue with the pages are not effecting your animals in anyway shape or form.

Under MOOG on the Big Cat you may find the listing at the bottom for the new hybrids and some have asked to see what they look like and below you will find a group photo.
