Toys For Tots Breedable Expo & Fair

November 1st marked the beginning of the Toys For Tots annual campaign. The centerpiece of the campaign is the Toys For Tots Breedable Expo & Fair hosted by Wild Kajaera. This nine-day event runs November 21st through November 29th and features 2 sims of the latest in SL breedables. There will be many new and exciting things to see and do and many exclusive items created for Toys For Tots. Make sure you stop by the WK display and pick up the new Toys For Tots Service Bear. Your WK Big Cats and Wild Dogs will thank you and so will all the children who will have a better holiday season because of Toys For Tots. This is an event you won’t want to miss and it’s an opportunity to support a great cause.

Announcing Wild Kajaera’s first ever Winter Festival exclusively featuring WK Big Cats and Wild Dogs where breeders, prospective breeders and the WK creators can meet and interact. The Wild Kajaera Winter Festival will run December 8th through December 21st.

The centerpiece of the festival will be a display of WK Big Cats and Wild Dogs where you can see them interact in their natural habitats. WK will also have large display area where you can see all the latest they have to offer. You can dance to some of Second Life’s best live entertainment and DJs or enjoy the large ice skating area. Among the acts booked, we have Dominoe Effect, Essence Bilasimo, ReallyMad Morpark, AmForte, GregKat24, and Lark Bowen. Market sims and breeders will have an opportunity to schedule and host their own events when the music venue is open. The best in holiday music will be streaming when no entertainment is scheduled.

The WK Winter Festival will also have displays from all the major auction houses and markets so that breeders and potential breeders can find the best place for them to sell their Big Cats and Wild Dogs.

There will also be a limited number of booths available to all WK breeders on a first come, first served basis, where breeders can sell or show off their best and take part in a WK sponsored decorating contest. To reserve one of these booths IM Queen between 8am and 8pm SLT on November 11th ONLY with the phrase: “Over the river and through the woods, to WK house we go!” to reserve your booth. Queen will respond back “The Cats know the way to pull the Sleigh and the Dogs will bark as we go.” This is your confirmation that the request has been received. At that time send a Full perm company logo to Queen.

Booth selection will be by WK and Queen will return a display kit with all the information for you to get started on your build, a prim to show the area size and a note card with the remaining rules. A map to show the location will be on the blog.

Booths are limited to one per household. Trying to circumvent this rule could lead to loss of all booth privileges at the festival.

Booths are for the display, promotion and sale of WK animals and products only. No other breedables are allowed.
Booth set-up will begin on December 6th.
The WK Winter Festival will be promoted to breeders and non-breeders alike. This is a fantastic opportunity for all levels of breeders, auction and market owners and WK to come together in one place to promote WK Big Cats and Wild Dogs, attract more breeders and expand markets. Halloween has come and gone and it’s time to put those broomsticks and cauldrons away until next year.

Just a friendly reminder to all of you bewitched breeders that this is your last chance to get the Trick or Treat African Cheetah and Trick or Treat Alaskan Gray Wolf and all the spooky toys. If you’ve been dragging your feet this is the last call to get these great traits in your pride or pack!

Just in time for Halloween, we have this adorable little bouncing bat. It will bounce around your sim at the range you set minding its own business. Like any curious animal our WK Big Cats and WK Wild Dogs will simply have to investigate this strange bat and as the bat sense that its been spotted will do its best to hop away but alas it is caught and will play dead until its released.  Once the animal loses interest it will start its bouncing around again.  One sale at the main sims or you can Trick or Treat for it by sending in a photo by November 5, 2015 see below.

It’s that spooky time of year and to celebrate we have, not one, but two, bloody Trick or Treat animals for our haunted breeders!

The first is our Trick or Treat Gray Wolf.

The Trick or Treat Wolf is loaded with must have traits and introduces the new scary “Grim” eye that is only available on this wolf but will pass to your animals. It also has a “Yummy In My Tummy” complete leg set, Large scale, Fluffy Long Aggressive personality, Fangs and a Black Spot tongue. The fur will not pass but all other traits will pass.

Next up we have the Trick or Treat Cheetah.

The Trick or Treat African Cheetah introduces the new “Mutilated” ear that only comes from the Trick or Treat Cheetah. It also features a new, very diabolical, “Demonic” eye that passes so all your animals can be just as demonic. If that were not enough you get Extra Large scale, Long tail, Missing Fang and Short whiskers. The fur does not pass but all other traits will pass.

Both are available at either of the main sims.

If you haven’t gotten Cecil this is your last day to do so and get this amazing fur and traits into your pride and it’s your last opportunity to support the Zimbabwe Parks and Wildlife Authorities Zimbabwe Endangered Species Fund.

Thanks to all those who have and are enjoying Cecil and have helped to support this great cause.

Attention all you Witches, Wizards, Goblins and Ghouls! October is almost here and that means Halloween is coming and for you WK Big Cat and Wild Dog breeders that means new Halloween eyes…5 brand new eyes for the Big Cats and 2 brand new eyes for the Wild Dogs. These eyes will be available as random drops for the month of October only!

The 2 new Wild Dog eyes will alternate weeks while for the Big Cats, the month will be broken up into 5 segments with one of the new eyes dropping in for that segment. As a bonus, on October 31st, Halloween day, ALL of these special eyes will be available to drop in randomly so if you missed one you will get a second chance. This should give all breeders many opportunities to get the new eyes in their prides, and packs.

As in the past, these new eyes will not pass but breeding animals with the Halloween eyes or their direct offspring can trigger Magical Flame eyes. In turn, Magical Flame eyes will not pass but breeding them or their direct offspring can trigger glowing eyes.

Some of you may have had or have seen odd sized leopard sacks. This is not an indication of the size of the cat in the sack. It will be whatever scale the stats say it will be.

Simply MOOG the odd sized sack and it will be normal.

To avoid having this happen, make sure your leopards and any or species you are breeding them with are the most current version.

Buyers beware! Some breeders have tried to charge exorbitant prices for these sacks. Do not be fooled! These cats are normal in every other way.

It is so amazing to see the offspring of this amazing South African Lion.  We know he is gone from the world but here in Second Life he won’t be forgotten. Some will wear his mane or have his fur color or even the mane shape but he will live on.

With the birth of these first babies we like to point out we’ve adjusted things to make the passing of mane fur and shape more ancestral than it has been in the past. This effects more then just Cecil and his offspring but of all the lions and there babies too.

Doing this allows you, the breeder, more flexibility and more creativity in the breeding process as you will now see lion furs and mane furs in combinations you haven’t seen previously…things like Auburn Tip on a Casablanca or a Light Grey on a Juba. This change gives you more control and more opportunity to create your dream lion.

We now have a sanctuary page you can access with information about the Sanctuary as well as which Animals are currently available as well as those that have been retired.  You can access this page by the menu to the left.

We have released just this morning 3 new animals 2 Jaguars and 1 wolf.

The Jaguars are featuring the Argentina and Panther Breed with exclusive furs. The Furs will only be introduced from the breeding of these animals.

The Timber Wolf is the second of the Sanctuary Wolfs and its fur will not pass.
