WE have some new toys for your kitties they have been learning how to use them.  Some of them will be releasing now while we will hold back others that are a bit more Halloween in design.  Among the first of the the new toys is WK Toss the Football this is a hud and ball where your able to throw the ball to a particular cat and they will get it and either bring it back or take it off to play.  We have also a Flutter Bugs these are butterflies that float around a 10×10 area and the cats will hunt them. You may combined these with the Heart Landscape grasses or just use them on the land on its own.  We have a new ball design the first of the Halloween Special Edition Toys.

To get your smarter cats simply MOOG them and they will no how to play with the toys.

We thought we would give you a special treat for October. These are only available through breeding.  The Pictorial Eyes will only be available through out the month of October, after that they are no longer around.  The eye it self will not pass but it will pass something. No we’re not telling you what just yet. We like surprises around here.

We gave you till September 15th to update your cats and food items and yes sacks and boosters too. In order to get every one pointed to the new server and the right web address if you re rezz an item pointed to the older web address it will make your item go poof. But do not despair webMOOG is there to return any of your items or animals that talk to the server.

For those still unsure on how to MOOG look to how to update on the menu area to the left of this post. For those of you who forgot your login information visit a store and click the sign it will give you the login and password in local.

Yes it is that time of year the leaves start to change on the trees. Well Heart landscape has heard your request and has released a new tree version for sale some of you may have found it already it is done in the autumn colors.

Winter of course is just around the corner if you would like to get a head start on winter Heart Landscape has also done a winter version

Not really sure what to tell you about the lion. We know you all are very excited about the Lion as you should be the Lion is going to be COOL.

Why is the lion taking so long?

The Lion is taking so long because to do the lion right it is really a lot of detail the Female Lion is in someways a separate cat she has no mane so she has to be able to work in all the poses.

The Male Lion has the new trait to the cats this is the Mane of course it has probably been the hardest part to make look right and to be a trait with different shapes.  The Mane of a male lion does not reach its full thickness until they are mature lions. You can expect to see this in our cats too they Males mane will start to grow in at the age of 6 and be full size at the age of 10.

What about Ligers and Tigons?

Lions in real life can make Ligers and can make Tigons. This will be a very rare occurrence and at this point we are still working on it. Will hold all comments on this until we get a bit further along.

Where we are at with it?

Nearly all poses are complete for the lion and the lioness they still need to learn to climb the tree.

Babies are being worked on for those first few days of life more work is need in this area.

Mane Shapes need to be completed

Furs and Mane Textures need to be cataloged.

Liger and Tigons need to have Furs made.

Once all motion is finished we will move into Genetics.

Once all this is done then it is on to testing all of it.  Initial motion test are looking really good.

Think that is everything there maybe one or two more things that need to be done but we know you will just have to be good little boys and girls and wait.

Now this might seem like a overwhelming amount of work to do at the same time of keeping up with the fixes that we are looking into on the cats. You’re right it is but we are right on track. We have not given a released date and we really don’t want to give a release date at this time because there is still so much to do.

In celebration of the football season we thought what better way to celebrate then with a Football for your cats to carry about and play with.

It has come to our attention that a real world company has contacted the owner of a web blog hosting a forum respectfully requesting they remove all references to their real world Trademark. While this real world company has yet to contact us directly, we feel it is our best interest and best interest of our users to change our name. It was never our intention to infringe upon the rights of any trademarked brand.

Over the next few days and you will see our name change to Wild Kajaera. Now you might be asking yourself, what’s a Kajaera? Well it is us, KAy JAE and RAndom all blended together to create a completely unique and wonderful word and our unique brand. We would like to thank all of you because it was with your words of what you liked about the cats that led us to this new name. You said you love the Cats, the Customer Service and the Company over all.

We know change is sometimes hard, but we hope that you will embrace this change as it is for the best for all of us going forward. Small changes will be the first noticed such as signs and logos.

We encourage all users to bookmark the new web site and delete any bookmarks or links to the old domain. Please rest assured your animals and items will continue to function normally while this transition takes place.

You may see your cat running around SL but yet your dashboard says they’re inactive. How can this be ? Well the term just means that the cat and the server are not communicating at the moment that the last time the server tried it got the 404 not found error.  This is nothing really to worry about unless of course your Moxie is close to 60. The cats have a auto reconnect that will reconnect them to the server with sending a new message to the server saying basically where the cat is located.  The reason that they go inactive can be many things and we can speculate on why it but it is simple something that happens.

Moxie effects a cats ability to breed if the cat is 60 or under pregnancy and heat gain will stop. This is why we advise watching moxie but moxie does not need to be at 100 and will take days to drop. We are watching this and trying to sort out how often the cats go inactive but at the moment feel that the balance is there with the amount of cats that may go inactive for a few hours being less then 1 %.

Some of you may have noticed that the pregnancy delivery time was starting to take longer. A cat would reach a 100 and sometimes be stuck in that state for upwards of an hour. While this is a short time in the reality of time it is a VERY LONG time when one is waiting and pacing the floor for that stork and the cub sack to appear.  In order to help with the time arrangement we have made some changes to when Moms would move up to the the 100 grouping them together by species. Tigers being the biggest of the cats and the ones to maybe get more grumpy if a little cheetah got to go first so Tigers will move up to the 100 mark first and should be delivering the first little sack as the Cheetahs move up to 100.  Then it is the Jaguars turn and the Cougars turn. This order is for the best to let the cats do there thing but you should see shorter wait times between the number in SL hitting 100 and the cat actually starting to hiss.
