Relay For Life Auction Monday, December 6th

⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂

This is the time of year where many people reflect on what they have and what they’re thankful for. As the end of the year nears, many will express this gratitude in many ways. It will be reflected in the many ads you may see on TV or in the numerous pages you scroll through on the Internet. This world has a lot to be thankful for, and we would think that you share that sentiment.

For tens of thousands of people across the world, this thankfulness holds an even deeper meaning. Whether they were just diagnosed with cancer, they have been in remission for a certain amount of time, or they’ve been struggling with it for so long, these heroes each see the promise of a new year in a different way. To experience that uncertainty, that fear, or that anxiety is a battle that no one should have to face, but these people do. In that sense, the new year may mean so much more than other people could imagine.

At Wild Kajaera, we believe in helping to support the cause. Through our numerous Relay for Life events we’ve participated in the past, we want to help find a cure. We know we have a wonderful community of generous people who feel just as strongly as we do. That’s why we’ve decided to hold a Relay for Life Community Auction on Monday December 5th at 6PM. All proceeds will go to the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life Fundraiser. The Relay for Life Auction will be located at the RFL Breedable Event.

To help us with this initiative, we are asking for cat or wolf donations to be auctioned off at this event. For those of you who want to show solidarity for our Relay for Life Auction, we ask that you send your cat or wolf to Jaed Cartier. Please rename your live animal or sack → Donated by (Your Name). We know, with your help, you can help show the world that we have a strong, vibrant community of generous people who are united in helping find a cure for cancer.

And, please. Be sure to spread the word, share it with your friends, and show up on Monday at 6pm to help support our Relay for Life Auction. We know, with your help, we can work wonders.

Our Sincerest Appreciation,

Awareness for World AIDS Day!

⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂

Some of us may be old enough to remember how frightening it was to witness the global scare that occurred in the 1980’s when HIV became a constant discussion in the news and other media. Not being connected constantly to a stream of information, like we are now, the fear of AIDS spread throughout the nation. For some, there seems to be an uneasy understanding about HIV and AIDS even today, when we have a wealth of information at our fingertips.

On December 1st, people around the world pay tribute to World AIDS Day. This day is special to so many people in the world, as it serves to unify everyone’s goal at finding a cure for this horrible disease. Additionally, it serves as a day to pay reverence to those who have passed as a result of AIDS or those living with it today.

Being on Second Life as much as we are, it’s easy to let the real world slip away. Becoming completely encapsulated in what we do on here, breeding our wonderful Wild Kajaera cats, or visiting amazing places built by others, we can often forget the impact that HIV and AIDS has had on the world around us. Some of you may even know someone who is battling the disease now.

Wild Kajaera’s Ribbon of Strength Eye will have a chance to drop in all births on December 1st. This is our way to increase awareness for World AIDS Day on the 1st. Please go to https://www.worldaidsday.org/about to learn more. We know our amazing community will share the same respect we have for such an event.

Will randomly drop in from 8 AM SLT to the next day at 8 AM SLT

With Respect

Thank you to all that report the problem with the animals Pregnancy Page on the website. This page is now back to working. Thank you for your patience while we worked to sort this for you.

There has been a update to the website. This has mainly effected the grids of the pages. The update has also effected the color themes that we had available not all of them were kept in this update we don’t know why, it is just something that changed. New schemes are available in addition to most of the old ones.

If you are having issues with the pages first thing to try is clear your history or your stored cash or cookies for the website, next restart your browser and finally relog into your portal account.  If your still not seeing things correctly and have a new color scheme in place contact a CSR for more information.

Rest assured any issue with the pages are not effecting your animals in anyway shape or form.

Under MOOG on the Big Cat you may find the listing at the bottom for the new hybrids and some have asked to see what they look like and below you will find a group photo.

This update is the first part of a two part update. The in world animals that are 2.6.8 are ready for the new Hybrids.  New hybrids are going to be added to the genetic combination.

We will have more on the New Hybrid combinations but for now can let you know the combinations.

Wolf Update for animals and sacks to 2.2.7

This update fixes some issues that were found with the ride when the wolf is a large or extreme scale.  Makes the animals a bit more aware of the Cave.

Allows them to see the new Pull Hay Wagon.

We are retiring one more fur. Looking back it’s hard to believe that it’s been nearly 4 years since it was made, embraced, and loved by our breeders. It was a hard choice to decide which fur to retire, as the tiger furs are so amazing. We have a wonderful poem to help you figure out which fur will pass the new one.

Autumn’s winds are near
feel the chill in your blood
orange hues replace the green
too long the leaves, from bud
huddle around fire and hearth
ward the freeze that grips your mind
your thoughts are somewhere else
this new fur you must find
hidden deep inside this riddle
the answer is confined.

Happy Breeding :-))

Being able to enjoy Second Life the way we do, it might be difficult to envision that there are way too many children who don’t have the chance to experience Christmas the way we do. As disheartening as this is, we have an opportunity to do something about it. We are excited to announce that we have the privilege of joining Second Life’s Toys For Tots donation drive.

From NOW to November 13th, a collective of Second Life Content Creators, Performers, and Sim Locations are holding the 8th Annual Toys For Tots donation drive. By joining this effort, we, once again, want to show Second Life how amazing our Wild Kajaera Community is. We’re confident that generosity and compassion pump strong in the heartbeat of the men and women in our community. We now have a chance to show everyone else in Second Life how important this wonderful charity is to us.

From now to November 9th, we are offering an exclusive White Toys For Tots Lion Shoulder Pet with each donation of 699L. You can find these wonderful shoulder pets at or Wild Kajaera University and Wild Kajaera Crystal River locations as well of our various Store locations. Help us continue to show how wonderful our Wild Kajaera Community is.

Thank you,

Avi Choice Awards!

⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂

On the grand scale of things, we are constantly amazed by how generous and strong our Wild Kajaera Community is. Whether it’s reflected in the numerous Relay For Life events we’ve been a part of in the past, or recently, by being part of the Doctors Without Border’s event, our WK Community has taken every opportunity to show off who we are to the rest of Second Life, far exceeding expectations.

We have a chance to do this again… to toot our own horns, so to speak. Second Life has decided to celebrate the last Avi Choice Awards, and we are fortunate to have YOU nominate us for two wonderful categories.

When you thought of Second Life’s Favorite Breedable, you nominated Wild Kajaera – Jaed Cartier / Kay Rembrandt / Random Nirvana to represent you in that category. We share the pride we feel, with you, by innovating the breedable world with our amazing Big Cats and Wolves.

To have you nominate Wild Kajaera – QueenFelinea in the Favorite Customer Service category is just as humbling. It shows us that you appreciate the time and effort we put into helping strengthen you as an amazing breeder.

To top this off, you’ve even nominated Breeders Choice – xTwisted1x Resident as Second Life’s Favorite Breedable Market. Devoted to Wild Kajaera only, Breeder’s Choice has been a mainstay in our Secondary Market for the longest time.

It goes without saying… We’re honored! Those nominations have truly shown us just how strong our Wild Kajaera Community is. We just have one final thing to do. Vote! You have an opportunity to show everyone in Second Life, once more, that all of us involved in Wild Kajaera have something amazing to show everyone else.

We know you share the same pride in our Wild Kajaera Community as we do. Don’t hesitate to visit the Avi Choice Awards website (under the Vote Here – SLife Awards menu) and let Second Life know they need to know who we are!
