WK has been around for 9 years. Where has the time gone. It has been a wonderful experience to bring to your SL world a wide variety of animals.
We have chosen to mark the occasion with two LIMITED EDITION exclusive Fur/Coat Animals. These animals come with NEW Eyes as well and a few other things unique to the species.

Big Cat Update to 4.4.2

This is an update that fixes –
Happy Updating all MOOGs and Updaters have been updated
SL Experience – this is a really nice improvement Second Life (SL) has made with less clicks to make your world flows more naturally. It does need to be enabled in the land. To enable it grab an estate manager or owner as they are the ones that can do it. If you happen to be an estate manager or owner simple go to the about land and experience tab and choose Add, use WK Experience to search and select the one Owned by Queenfelinea. Once you have that added the animals will only ask you once from one animal if its ok to use this experience. All other animals will hear the answer and listen to the request. If the land does not have the WK Experience enabled they will use the existing way to animate.
There have been a few questions about what will or how will things pass from the Easter Jaguars primairly on the furs. These charts should help take some of the confusion away. The animal to the far left is the animal that made the Easter Jaguars. The animal in the middle is the animal you were able to make when you bought a crate from the kiosk. These animals you bought still have parents in the background that will make the color fur, so if your getting a color fur it is from the background. The animals moving forward will pass the natural tones.

We would like to start this year out on a positive so we have a brand new tool for you on the website. We adapted the Animal Totals to include food. This will take the calculation on how long will the food you have last and give you a warning in the way of color changing. If anything is going to run out in 10 days with the current amount of animals it will turn yellow. If you are within 7 days of supply running out it turns red. Allowing you time to get into the game and add food to your dishes.
You can find this feature on all the various animal types. It is located on the dashboard on the right-hand side.
We have one more update for Big Cats- to the MOOG unit for animals/sack under the all you can now MOOG by all Species and Breed or just Species. Warning – You must rezz out all the animals given to you if you select for example Tiger – Amur to not get any crossovers before you go back and select Tiger – Sumatran. If you don’t you can trigger a confusion on your MOOG and may need to have your MOOG-bits as we call them reset.
New Years Eyes will continue to drop in until Jan 2 roughly midday SLT.

All the WK animals are gazing upwards today and can’t believe the sight that they saw. You can see for yourself reflected in the eye of some of the babies being born starting this morning and running through the 26th morning.
Santa Hits Traffic – 
The Eye is available on all animals.
We do hope you have a wonderful holiday and have less traffic then Santa appears to be hitting on your holiday travels.
We are preparing the first of the updates to the way the Traits are calculated to more accurately reflect the true percentage. This will give breeders a clearer picture of how their animal traits compare to the total grid count for that species. You will see the rarity calculator and in world stats the .00 after the percentage this to help you see how rare things with similar percentage values differ.
We have changed the way the Teeth, Tail, Whiskers, Glow, Shine and Scale Traits are calculated. These traits are now calculated the same way as the Fur Eyes and Ears have been calculated for the last few years. We do feel this will give a better understanding of the traits.
We have some very special animals for you this October. Starting with our beloved Big Cats, we have a very special Tiger. It is a Bengal with Bengal parents.
This cat comes with Random Sex, and some very exclusive furs the one you see is a Ghost and its parents are wearing the non Ghost version. The Non Ghost version is called the Doppelganger. Both of these furs will pass with a different nose. This is a brand new fur stripe pattern. The Furs are exclusive meaning they will not come in randomly. The DemonicGlow eye has been requested and what a more fitting way to introduce it then on the anniversary of the Demonic Eye release.
We have also given this cutie a set of Extra Long-Whiskers and a LongToothSNGLFan tooth. We know many of you like the larger scale so we have made it extra Large but it will be very cute in any size. Jaed is looking forward to trying to get this on a baby scale.
For those Wild Dog breeders, we have a black ghost Gray Wolf that we are sure you will enjoy, so much so that we have given you a whole new fur strain for it. It has Ghost Parents and will produce more Ghost furs. It does come with a complete Let set and can have a chance of producing the larger scale animals as well. 
Both of these animals are out at WKU wandering about or in either of the Big Cat or Wild Dog areas.
The Fun does not stop there as we have added the Little Varmints to our line and we could not forget about them. We changed it up a bit and are offering you a very adorable Ferret with a Mink Fur that is exclusive. As well as the parents of this animal. The animal comes with a Limited Time Costume. The costume can be applied to any of the Little Varmints. It comes separate so you can apply it as if your getting them dressed up for the holiday.

Here at WK we have some very special traditions. Every October since we started we have done a random dropped Halloween Eye there have been various amounts of them through the early years, however, this is getting to be a lot of eyes for the season so we have scaled it back a bit this year. We will have a new eye out each week in Big Cats and in Wild Dogs and it will run for 7 days. As in previous years and with the reduction of Magical Flame Eyes on the grid we will have these eyes pass Magical Flame until our birthday celebration (January 28th), where at the magical flame will be turned off and they will be able to pass themselves.
For Little Varmints, we have not been able to get the graphic type eye to work so well with it being so small – however, we will continue to try various ideas.
Throughout this month, we have some very exciting things happening. Stay tuned and we will let you know more about them.
We are excited to announce that we will be releasing in the BIG CATS 2 new Glows and 1 new Shine versions. The new version are Eclipse, Solar and Luster. With the release of the new versions however we do need to remove current Moonlight and Sunlight and Glisten from the random drop. They WILL continue to pass. They have been around for a very long time so we are confident that they will continue to be found in the secondary market.
The new versions will come in at a higher levels than the older versions. In order to qualify for Eclipse you need to have an offspring resulting at level 50 or higher, Luster is level 60 or higher and Solar at level 65.
Happy Breeding –
Clarification on how this passes – it starts with the random drop and the offspring must be the resulting level or higher. There was a day we had a small issue where it did pass to levels not correctly. These have been corrected.
Once the animal has either the glow or the shine it passes up or down the levels.
Level only matters when there is no ancestral presence of the trait.
A rare eye to go along with the rare event of a Solar Eclipse. The eye will be dropping into the random pool of all WK animals starting Sunday evening and going through to Tuesday Morning. There is also a chance of getting it in the glowing version of the eye.
